Early departure toward Nevado del Ruiz, traveling through spectacular Andean landscapes on the way to this high-altitude ecosystem.
6:30 Birding Starts
On our way up to the Laguna Negra we will make an stop on the road to observe birds in a forest remanent.
7:30 Breakfast at Laguna Negra
We visit Laguna Negra, a scenic high-mountain lake where you can observe birds adapted to the páramo environment. We will have our breakfast here.
8:50 Transfer to the entrance PNN.
Continue the journey toward the entrance of Nevado del Ruiz National Natural Park.
9:15 Birding around the PNN.
Explore the surrounding areas of the park searching for high-Andean bird species that inhabit the páramo and mountain forests.
12:00 Lunch
Enjoy lunch while taking in the breathtaking mountain views.
13:00 Transfer to the Hotspring.
Transfer to the nearby hot springs area.
13:45 Hug a hummingbird
