"If you're reading reviews to figure out if you should book this excursion with Jorge, stop reading and just book it. It was an amazing experience and worth every penny! If I could give Jorge more stars, I would. Jorge provided so much amazing information about the birds, flora, land, and region. I learned a lot and I was never overwhelmed with information. We did the 9km hike which was plenty for my partner and I. We aren't really hikers but we love the outdoors, but we made our way to the top and throughout the time of hiking, Jorge was right next to us as he was very patient and kept us moving along. Jorge knows birds and it was really cool to see other random hikers asking him questions too! Jorge can catch birds from far away and made sure we could see them with our binoculars! We even caught a few rare birds! Jorge is also knowledgeable about the region biodiversity, it was really cool to learn about moss, ferns, bamboo, rivers you name it… and of course the palm trees!
